The Matteson Single Moms Generation Group hosted 55 moms, 70 children, and 56 teens for a special Christmas event in 2023. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely Christmas tree, a snowman, and giant Christmas ornaments.

During the summer, we received a letter from a young woman who was living on a special ranch for women in California. Many of the women there were homeless and have endured trafficking, kidnapping, and physical abuse.

Before the Headquarters office closed for the Christmas break, we received an email from Elizabeth Brown, President of Central Texas Area, who had attached the Leadership Questionnaires for three new leaders and the new affiliation for a Lighthouse in Bastrop, TX which is 30 minutes east of the capital city of Austin. This is new territory for Aglow and is at the eastern border of the Central Texas Area.

For many years, Lorene Carlson worked in the Executive Department at Headquarters and in the Prayer Department overseeing the House of Prayer before her retirement. Since then, she has found many ways to keep showing the love of God to all those around her.

The Georgia Area Team joined the Command the Foreword and painted the borders in their state. Beginning in Macon at the beautiful Amherst River Park, they had a powerful time of declaring the Word.

Recently, the Hawthorne, NV Lighthouse, newly formed in November 2022 took time to pray around the Aurora Healing Center. They prayed while driving around the perimeter of the compound, stopping at each corner.

Meet beautiful Judith Luna. She is a Spirit-filled Christian who moved from Mexico to Wendover, Utah eight years ago and is an elementary school teacher. Last month the Wendover Aglow was invited to Nevada State Aglow's annual gathering with guest speaker, Kathy Sanders.

The County, CA Area Team tossed around ideas for an outreach within the boundaries of their Area. Rita Gorski recalled that when one of her granddaughters spent time in the hospital someone brought her a cozy blanket that comforted her.
